How this practice exam works
- Each attempt draws 30 questions from our Texas question bank in the proportions shown below.
- You have 30 minutes; the exam submits itself when time runs out.
- Flag questions, move freely, and change answers before you submit. Your progress is saved in this browser.
- After you submit you see your score by topic and an explanation with sources for every question you missed.
The Texas portion of the Life and Health agent exam has 30 scored questions (plus 5 unscored pretest questions): 14 on rules common to life and health insurance, 6 on life insurance only, 7 on accident and health insurance only, and 3 on HMOs, according to the Pearson VUE content outline #124401, effective 1 September 2026. The state sets the passing standard for the real exam, and it isn't necessarily 70% correct; we show 70% as a practical target. For the general knowledge part, take the 100-question Life & Health practice exam.
