How this practice exam works

How this compares with the real exam

In Texas, for example, the Life, Accident and Health agent exam has 100 scored general knowledge questions and 30 scored Texas-law questions, plus unscored pretest items, with 150 minutes in all, according to the Pearson VUE candidate handbook and content outline. This practice exam covers the general knowledge part only; state-law practice is on the state pages.

The real exam reports a scaled score where 70 is passing; that is not the same as 70% correct. We show 70% as a practical target: if you score well above it here, and on each topic, you are in good shape.
